Internationally acclaimed fashion designer Malan Breton presented his Spring/Summer 2016 Menswear Collection on Tuesday during the inaugural New York Fashion Weeks: Men’s. Malan Breton has become one of the biggest names in today’s fashion scene with A list clients such as Scarlett Johansson, Kylie Minogue, Ariana Grande and Daniel Craig, amongst many others.
The collection, which includes suiting as well as sports and underwear designs, successfully manages to combine copper tones with a somewhat colder blue palate and features Breton’s signature detailing and exotic prints that, paired with a unique assembly of fabrics such as silk, cotton and bamboo, create a strong visual narrative which tells the perfectly balanced tale of Taiwanese heritage and New York sophistication.
The presentation of this season’s collection also served to mark the debut of Malan Breton Homme, Breton’s newest line of luxury accessories that features an eclectic assortment of eye-wear, watches, cuff-links and skateboards with an emphasis on brushed metals and Swarovski detailing.
