Lila Nikole Collection Debuts La Flor Collection at SWIMMIAMI
The Lila Nikole Collection is set to debut their newest collection, La Flor presented by Lycra® Xtra Life™, on July 19th as part of SWIMMIAMI, at the 1 Hotel. The swimwear will be styled by Alessandra Gold and will feature shoes by Kruzin Footwear, while Blo Blow Dry Bar Brickell will do all the hair and makeup. DJ Rob Dinero will pump up the show with live music as guests quench their thirst with Cointreau liqueur cocktails. The exclusive event is by invitation only, so cross your fingers that you get to be one of the lucky few!
Creative Director and Designer, Lila Nikole Rivera, is known for incorporating her Latin heritage and South Florida flair into many of her design concepts. The La Flor collection is no different. It reinvents floral patterns in a dramatic way, infusing exotic scenes into traditional swimwear materials, creating true pieces of wearable art. All prints are created from variations of digitally designed flowers that are then developed into original prints under the designer’s artistic vision.
In addition to being inspired by nature, Lila Nikole drew inspiration from her customers and their varying personalities to create the new collection. “I wanted to have something for everyone of my ladies. So whether you are the subtle chic beach girl, the outgoing playful girl, or the daring fashionista – we’ve got you covered. We’ve been able to achieve this by incorporating an expansive color palette, a variety of different cuts, and a wide range of silhouettes,” Lila describes. The diversity in this swim line is shown through long sleeves, leggings, shorts, triangle tops, tanga and Brazilian cuts, full cuts, one-pieces, and asymmetric silhouettes. It is also visually striking by displaying both delicate prints in soft hues and bolder prints in darker shades and bright neons.
