On Sunday, July 17, The Deck at Island Gardens and Select Miami played host to the Miami Swim Week Waterfront Closing Party in collaboration with Miami-based swim and resort designer Bianca Coletti and boho luxe brand Soul of a Hippie (SOAH).
Set overlooking the world’s largest and most extravagant yachts docked at the Deep Harbour superyacht marina, the ceremony debuted SOAH and Coletti’s fall line, as well as a provocative live painting of by artist collective Super Poor Kids on three luxury cars provided by OZ Exotics. The Swim Week fête drew in celebrities, socialites and Miami’s elite, including Marysol Patton of Real Housewives of Miami, NeNe Leakes of Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Disney Channel star Cierra Ramirez.
Offering panoramic waterfront views of Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami, The Deck at Island Gardens is open with special weekend parties and summer hours for global marina elite arriving via superyacht and locals who love the yachting lifestyle. Since its summer season opening, The Deck at Island Gardens has hosted international A-listers including Adriana Lima, Dennis Rodman, model and actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, DJ Skrillex, Sears CEO Eddie Lampert, World Champion Boxer Andre Berto and socialite Ivana Trump. Grand opening will follow in late October.
Upon future completion of the Island Gardens upland development, the marina will be complemented by two luxury hotels, hotel-serviced and branded living, a selection of retail and restaurants overlooking a waterfront promenade, as well as a water taxi transportation system servicing Miami and the beaches.
