Baes and Bikinis runway debut went off without a hitch. Industry fled to the LYCRA Swim Salon at the W South Beach only to be turned away due to the packed venue. Sun tanned models radiantly strutted the runway in jeweltone flower hair-pieces highlighting the gorgeous crochet details of every bae in her bikini.
Baes and Bikinis is a collection of swimsuit each uniquely designed by Malibu resident, Stephanie Princi. A native of Malibu, her line of bikinis is inspired by beaches around the Greek islands, Hawaii and Malibu. Baes and Bikinis creates very detailed, simple, sexy, high quality swimwear, which combines imported soft fabrics and seamless comfort to encompass the lifestyle of the perfect low cut island bikini as well as the flirty Malibu fit.
Inspired by her mother’s line of high-end crocheted bikini line as well as her passion for art and design, this 20 year old designer set out to create a unique and more attainable line of bikinis that her and friends could love. Stephanie has had a great deal of support from family and friends, which has allowed her to be successful at a young age.
Baes and Bikinis combines sugar and spice to in its popular cheeky bottoms and flattering tops that make a woman feel comfortable and confident in her own skin.
A 2017 collection inspired by all things Coachella, Baes and Bikinis stunned with rich jewel tones in one of a kind crochet patterns. Vibrant hues peaked through this season in cheeky braided bottoms and larger than life floral hats and crowns.
With a swim designer mother and a Malibu zip code comes celebs. Notable attendees included lead guitarist of Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and transgender model Carmen Carrera. Ava Sambora, daughter of Richie and Heather Locklear took her grand finale walk down the runway with designer Stephanie Princi.
